Individual Study Pods
1st FL Richter Individual Study Pods: 5 Bookable Pods
- All 1st FL Richter Individual Study Pods are reserved via QR code on the pod door, at the Access Services desk or online at: https://libcal.miami.edu/reserve/pods
- There are no locks or keys to gain access to these study pods.
- For study pods that are vacant, please reserve the study pod online before entering the space.
- Individuals without a reservation will be asked to vacate the study pods that have been reserved.
- The Libraries reserves the right to cancel reservations that violate these policies.
- Due to the limited amount of private study pods, law students are not allowed to book study pods at Richter Library.
- The Libraries are not responsible for items left in the study pod unsupervised.
- Users should not eat in the study pod.
- Library furniture is not to be moved in or out of study pod.
- Please call or visit the Access Services desk to reserve an individual study pod for an entrance exam requiring an extended loan period.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
- There is a 3 hour limit with a maximum of one study pod booking per day.
- If an individual does not check-in online and arrive in-person within 20 minutes after the start of the scheduled reservation, the pod reservation will be considered canceled.
- Study pods may only be reserved one day in advance given the high demand for these spaces.
- An individual vacating the study pod for breaks longer than 15 minutes will forfeit the space for the remainder of their reservation.
2nd Floor Richter Individual Study Pods: 6 First-Come/First-Serve Pods
- All 2nd Floor Richter Individual Study Pods are available on a first-come/first-serve basis.
- Please be courteous and limit your time.
- There are no locks or keys to gain access to these study pods.
- The Libraries are not responsible for items left in the pod unsupervised.
- Users should not eat in the booth.
- Library furniture is not to be moved in or out of study pod.
